The Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our Ocean Grove ProFeet Footwear store. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team, elevate the customer experience, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

This is the perfect next step for someone who loves retail, thrives in a team environment, and is ready to step up in responsibility — with support, mentorship, and a clear pathway to growth.



What You'll Do
Support Team Leadership
> Work alongside the Store Manager to coach and guide the team
> Lead by example on the floor, bringing great energy and teamwork
> Help onboard and train new team members
> Provide real-time feedback and contribute to a positive, inclusive culture


Deliver Exceptional Customer Experiences
>Confidently guide fittings and educate customers with empathy and product knowledge
> Ensure each visit is welcoming, helpful and memorable
> Support the team to share our purpose — helping people move well and feel great



Keep the Store Running Smoothly

> Assist with stock management — from ordering to display
> Oversee customer orders and ensure clear, professional communication
> Keep daily operations flowing — store presentation, policies, and procedures
> Contribute to team and store performance through KPIs and continuous improvement



Be Active in the Local Community
> Support the team to grow local connections with health professionals and partners
> Attend local events and represent ProFeet with pride
> Help us find new ways to connect, serve and grow our impact

Job Requirements :
Availability : Full time - 38hrs

* 5 days per week. Including Saturday as a key trading day, rotating roster.
* Store opening hours : M-F 9:30-6pm, Sat 9:30-5pm, Sun 11 - 3pm
* Hours can be flexible in coordination with the leadership team.

  • Store opening hours: M-F 9:00-5.30pm, Sat 9:00-2:00pm, Sun 9:00-1:00pm
